Aaron and Stephanie
We are all excited that Aaron and Steph have been able to get a house. During these times that is something to be excited about. Another great thing is that they will be in our ward.
Hayle's Update
Hayle had her 21 birthday Sept. 17. Linda and I surprised her with a visit. We were so deceptive and made her think we sent her a birthday package. It didn't arrive and I told her that it was supposed to be delivered that night and that she needed to go look on her front poarch. When she opened her door there we were. It was so fun. We took her a whole suitecase of Vegies from the garden. Her and Court were excited I think. We stayed a week and helped her get the house organized.

We are staying in a Motel which overlooks this bay. That is the ferry that we came over here on. It is about a two and a half hour trip. We met some really great people on the boat.
By the way....notice that I didn't post a picture of Court...that is because I didn't take one. I will do that on Tuesday. But he looks good. I believe he lost some weight (like he needed to right).
We will have a fun day tomorrow this island is awesome. Very breezy but no cool.
Hang in there Aaron we will be home Thursday.

We got up early today and went to the Temple again. Jazmine was locked in the bathroom of our room seemed to be OK. We went down to old Nauvoo and messed around for a while and got another brick.
We crossed the Mississippi 3 times. That river blows me away. So much water. We saw the Arch in St. Lewis but didn't stop. We got there right at 5:00 pm and traffic was awful and to make matters worse the freeway we were on was closed so they diverted us to another. It was much worse on the other side.
Anyway we are in Mt Vernon Ill. We will be in Kentucky Tomorrow. Everything is going good. We are enjoying the trip.

The Cemetery in Winter Quarters. This Statue represents a mother, father, and a daughter leaving a baby who died on the trail. The ground so frozen they couldn't bury it. In this cemetery there are many unmarked graves so many they do not even know the number. But of the ones that they do know 60% are children.

Travel
We are leaving on a cross country drive to North Carolina. We are driving our youngest daughters car back so that she can reunite with her husband who has been in Iraq. He is in the US Marine Corp. I hope to post pictures as and comment as we travel.
